This year, St. Anne’s The School of Excellence celebrated Krishnashtami with great enthusiasm and joy! The festival, marking the birth of Lord Krishna, brought together students, teachers, and parents in a vibrant display of culture and tradition.
The school was beautifully decorated with colorful streamers, flowers, and pictures of Lord Krishna. Students participated in traditional dress, adding to the festive atmosphere. Each classroom was transformed into a lively space that resonated with the spirit of celebration.
The highlight of the day was the cultural program, featuring performances by our talented students. They showcased a variety of dances and songs that depicted stories from Krishna’s life. The enthusiasm and energy of the children captivated the audience, and the applause was a testament to the hard work put into their rehearsals.
One of the most exciting activities was the Handi breaking event. Students formed a line to break a pot tied to a rope, which was pulled up to add an element of challenge. With safety as a priority, the event was thrilling and fun, and the laughter and cheers from the crowd created an electric atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie.
The Krishnashtami celebration was a beautiful blend of learning, creativity, and joy. It offered students the opportunity to connect with their cultural roots while appreciating the significance of this auspicious day. The event was a reminder of the importance of tradition, unity, and celebration in school life.
